Is S1 a Kindle replacement?
S1 is made for a different job: quick, distraction-free reading in a truly pocketable size. It does not connect to the Kindle store or open Kindle DRM-protected books.
How do I add books?
You can transfer supported, DRM-free EPUB, TXT and JPG files using the companion app. We are testing the English onboarding flow before launch.
Does the display have a front light?
The current S1 specification does not include a front light. It is designed to be read with ambient light, like paper.
When will orders ship?
Shipping dates and supported destinations will be confirmed before payment opens. Joining the list does not place an order or charge you.
What will be included?
The planned package includes the S1 reader, magnetic charging accessory and English quick-start guide. Final contents will be confirmed on the order page.
